Located in the Great Trinity Forest, the Great Trinity Forest Gateway and Horse Trail provides urban hikers with a natural retreat. The trails lead to McCommas Bluff, offering scenic views and wildlife exploration opportunities. Near the Trinity River Audubon Center, the area includes a large fishing pond and BBQ pits, ideal for family outings. Although the park connects to the larger Trinity Forest preserve, visitors have noted the need for improved maintenance due to trash issues. Despite some noise from nearby freeways, the park remains a relaxing and secluded spot.
