What a waste of money.  The owner was chastising both customers and workers when we walked in.  But the reviews were good so we continued with our purchase.  Everything was stale!!! The black and white cookies were like frosted cardboard.  I’m sure they were tasty 3 or 4 DAYS ago. The pastries were so tough we couldn’t bite into them without considerable effort.  Everything we bought (3 bags of Italian pasties and cookies) we tried and threw out.  Surely it couldn’t all be bad?  Sadly, yes, we wasted our money on possibly week-old pastries.  It all went into the garbage.

Was out after dinner looking for some real treats.  This place has by far one of the best black and white cookies I have ever had in 44 years.  It was so ridiculously good I will violate my intermittent fasting and destroy these any chance I get now.  It was fluffy and the icing (for us black and white snobs) was perfect. Not too sticky and the chocolate part was just right, although I’m a vanilla side guy.

Always a great experience.  I go there every year for my birthday cake and now I go for my sister's birthday cakes . Also try the coffee. It's delicious and creamy. Never leave without grabbing a cup.

I love baking, my family history leads with “birthday cake” photos, and I have 1/2 venture of discerning taste when it comes to sweets. This is an amazing cake. I was extraordinarily lucky to
be kindly provided a: ‘italian cake with white and chocolate.’ Thanks - i will encourage all to enjoy the best birthday cake ever.

This shop has been around for over 100 years and once you taste their pastries you will understand why. Wonderful service and a warm sense of community greet you when you walk in. The cookies I enjoyed tasted just like my grandma's and that's the best compliment I can give them. This is old school and I wouldn't have it any other way.
