Description

Less than two hours from Playa del Carmen is the archaeological site of Coba. There you’ll have the opportunity to walk through the Mayan jungle whilst discovering ruins of great importance and historical interest. Among all of them, the Great Pyramid stands out. It measures 42 meters (140 feet) and is the third highest in the Yucatan Peninsula. The return path is 5.8 kilometers (3.6 miles) long and perfect for any skill level. You can travel it on foot or by bike, you choose! After that, you can head to the Muul Ich Ts’on’ot cenote, located in the community of San Juan. It’s a great place to get your strength back and refresh yourself after a long walk!
