The Arthur J steakhouse is the best restaurant in the Hermosa Beach area, hands down. The interior is upscale and classy, with a wonderful atmosphere. I ordered the NY steak with the chimichurri sauce, fries and asparagus. The steak was excellent- flavorful and easy to eat. The asparagus was also good, but the fries were not very impressive. I did like the restaurant enough that I came back the next day and tried their in-house ice cream, which was actually pretty good. The service was excellent both times I visited. If I'm ever back in the area, I will definitely return.
