Description

This temple is located in Mylapore, one of Chennai's most vibrant neighbourhoods. The original temple was destroyed by the Portuguese in 1566 and the current version has the characteristics common to many of Tamil Nadu's temples: the pillared mandaps, colourful gopuram and a large tank.
