Description

The Official Site of Korea Tourism indicates that Deoksugung Palace’s stone wall road makes it a famous Seoul attraction. Guests often marvel at the disunity in the architectural styles on the complex, with two large western-style stone building surrounded by traditional Korean palace buildings. While most of the buildings at Deoksugung feature bright paintings and tapestries common in historic Korean buildings, one, Seogeodang, has no paint.
