Description
Every year Epiphany Eve is celebrated on the 6th January, it is the day when Neapolitan children get a visit from Befana, a good witch who distributes chocolates and sweets. She is in search of Jesus and ensures every kid get their sweets; she is the Neapolitan version of Santa Claus! The Piazza Mercato is filled with sweet sellers and families with children out to celebrate the day. The weather is pleasant and one of the best days to celebrate love is Valentine’s Day.
