If taxidermy, Texas history, and beer are your things then the Buckhorn Saloon and Museum is for you. Local bellhop Albert Friedrich opened the saloon in 1881. At the time, if customers didn’t have enough cash to pay for drinks, Friedrich accepted horns, pelts and other objects as forms of payments.
