Description
Located an hour’s drive West of Edmonton, this provincial park is a popular summer destination thanks to its large beach and waterfront for swimming, boating, and sailing. You’ll also find plenty of trails for hiking and biking in the park, as well as opportunities for geocaching, fishing, camping, baseball, and other outdoor activities. Because the park is home to so many species of birds — everything from bald eagles and mallards, to heron and ospreys — it’s an ideal spot for birding as well. UPDATE: Alberta Parks is continually monitoring operations to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Please visit the website for the most up-to-date information on facility closures, service changes, programming updates, and safety measures.
