Excellent dinner at this lovely restaurant. Attentive service- delicious food! What else could you want? Small so call for a reservation- we went on a Monday and they were full.

A lovely, quaint Italian spot on the Upper East Side. Come here to dine like you would in Italy: slowly, with friends and family, and plenty of great wine. The food is exquisite, but the overall experience is what I love the most. A haven in a busy city… to simply “be.” And, after dinner, the chocolate lava cake is an absolute must. Enjoy!

My experience has been very disappointing here. Every time I try to get take out (since I don't have time to dine in) - they've insinuated that I CAN'T AFFORD the food. The interaction has come with many uncomfortable remarks. On Friday, I was yelled at for asking a simple question - on asking if they treat their typical customer the same way, he told me I was over reacting and creating a scene. Given the recurrent nature of their behavior, it's evident that they actively PROFILE AND DISCRIMINATE against people. I would not recommend that any one goes here, save yourself the misery (go to FELICE!). Such a shame for the chef, since the food is actually really good!

We went to 8 1/2 last night for a girls night out and had a wonderful time with good company and great food! Definitely will be back!!! The food is very high quality and I can’t even pick a favorite dish because I love them all! Make sure you order desert and special tea at the end!

What more can I say?
Some of the serving staff need to refresh their skills! They can't expect generous gratuities unless they are delivering appropriate service.
