friendly staff, the spread they have in here is wild! so many good choices and it smells outstanding. I went with the kabobs, chicken and pork. the veal meatballs were my favorite, had a nice mushroom gravy that wasn't too heavy, and the chicken wings had some serious meat on them and just crispy without being burnt. decent priced too and the deli meats are great to grab on the go. wonderful market, I got lucky there was no line when I walked by so I got to get in and out quick.

I never miss coming here to get soups meat, bread every time I’m in the city!! The service is great, and you can’t miss their white borscht!! It’s amazing! I can’t leave out their chicken soup, it’s the most amazing broth, and a shout out to the pea soup! This place is a lower east side institution!! Thank you for serving use all these years!

Great meats and Ukrainian ethnic foods! Once you have a taste of their offerings, you’ll be back for more. Best kielbasa on the planet.

A true old school local shop.
Definitely worth the stop by to do some shopping on Saturday for the week.
