Great place for food made fresh in front of you! Woke up every morning we were in NYC and got coffee. Owner seems great and friendly. Thank you for our memories here!

I was looking for a quick place to pick up a freshly made sandwich to eat before leaving on the train to Syracuse. On the very last block before getting on the train at Moynihan Train Hall, I stopped at Jessie's Express Cafe on 411 Eighth Avenue, across from Madison Square Garden. They had just what I was looking for-- a very satisfying made-to-order sandwich, chips and a muffin that tasted homemade. They have lots of other food choices which looked just as good, a vegetarian wrap, bagels, brownies, and smoothies. . One of the owners was behind the counter, a friendly guy. I definitely recommend this place.

My new FAVORITE cafe/bodega in the area. You'd think that based on the location it would be super pricey, but everything is fair and everything is SO FRESH. I loved their Greek omelette and their fresh-baked black and white cookies!

Jessie's is the best...the food is great plus Eddie and his staff always give you a genuine warm greeting, no fake smiles. If something is wrong they do all they can to make it right. I can't believe I missed their shop for so many years but now that I've sampled their food and hospitality, there's no other deli for me!

Really fast service, they give you a lot of meat on the sandwiches, and friendly guys working there.
