Listen, just gonna level with you, the food was good not great. My tacos were really good, but my wife's turkey club was a bit dry and bland. Don't care. The service was so good, I'd go back and order the turkey club. I wish I'd caught the server's name, but I didn't. He was a great ball of positive energy jumping from table to table making sure that everyone was taken care of. Not being from NYC myself his accent was great and I felt like dining in this diner was a real NYC experience. Go check it out for yourself, I'm confident you'll have a great experience like I did. Bonus points for the $1 homemade cookies that my kids loved.

It was fine. Cute diner in a pretty good location. Staff was friendly enough, but very slow for it not being very busy when we were there. Food was fine.

Great little luncheonette in the shadow of The Standard and The Highline, it’s been a fixture there forever.  We weren’t sure what to expect but it surpassed our expectations.   Excellent service and I loved my cheese, avocado, and jalapeño omelette.

We felt very welcome in Hector's clean Cafe&Diner. Great location directly at the beginning of the high line. All staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was tasty and delicious. We will come again, thanks!

It was nice to be back in NYC, but even nicer to have breakfast at Hector's.  Thank you for making me feel at home.
