Description
Santa Maria del Pi in Barcelona's Gothic quarter is a fantastic church with an imposing and peaceful interior, and an art installation to explore. The adjoining rooms offer more exhibits, and the highlight is the garden with the resident cat "Romy." Tickets include timed entry to the bell tower, which offers stunning views from the top, despite the many stairs to climb. Keep in mind that the tower entrance is at specific times and may be closed due to weather conditions. One downside is the presence of pigeon droppings on the lower floors of the tower. Overall, it's a recommended experience for a moment of silence and a great view. Sources like Hand Luggage Only have also recommended Santa Maria del Pi.
