The food was good but nothing stood out, in my opinion. The consistency over the years has been superb. They clearly have worked hard to maintain the level of quality food they produce. The place has been packed every time I’ve gone and it seems to be more packed each time I go. Clearly they’re doing things right. The wait times can be on the longer side for fast food, but not unreasonable, especially given the massive number of customers. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. I remember the first couple of time the staff walked me through the options and recommended some of the meals based on what I wanted. I’d recommend giving it a try if you’re curious about Pilipino fast food.

May 2021 update:

Takeaway only as of this writing. There was a line when I showed up one weekend evening, but it moved fast enough. Service was friendly and efficient, and they really did a good job with the floor layout and foot markers so customers can maintain social distancing while waiting in line. It was also encouraging to see everyone with face coverings. We arrived by car and easily found street parking a block away.

This is a popular fast food chain in the Philippines that has been brought overseas to cities with a large Filipino expatriate population. This particular store serves the standard fare, including the famed crispy 'chickenjoy' and Filipino sweet style spaghetti. I like that they have a soda fountain so you can drink all the cold beverages you want, which is not the case in many (if not all) of their stores in the Philippines. The place is small and packed with tables so there is very little room to move about. Service is friendly and fast. Prices are at par with local fast food joints.

There's so many fried chicken places around, but what sets Jollibee apart is how incredibly flavourful and juicy the meat is. They must marinate for ages with some kind of magic spice/brine/herb/potion. It's also fun to dip the chicken in the free gravy that you get, as if it wasn't tasty enough! Flavour bomb! And then to be able to wash it down with the most refreshing pineapple juice... honestly sometimes I swing by just for a cup of that stuff, especially on a hot day.

I haven't been since January and It is not as good as I remember

I remember my first time being here a few years back in 2019 and the spicy version of the chicken was hot. The chicken drumsticks were big. Have been visiting the last few times recently in mid 2022 and now I can’t tell the difference between original and spicy. My spice tolerance is very low and not sure if they are catering to a bigger crowd but I really think Jollibee should change the spice level to where it was back then. It just seems like the crust is a little different but the inside of the chicken where the meat is is very similar to the original.
