Description

The Museum of Childhood, located on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh, offers a comprehensive exploration of the evolution of childhood play and historical and social aspects of children's lives. While some exhibition floors were closed during our visit, the museum still provided an interesting and entertaining experience. The presence of accessible games and a well-stocked gift shop added to the overall appeal of the museum. Visitors can expect to encounter a range of exhibits, from vintage toys to displays on laws affecting children's education and labor. Despite the brief duration of our visit, the museum left a lasting impression, particularly for older visitors who were able to reminisce about their own childhoods. Overall, the Museum of Childhood is a delightful and worthwhile destination, especially for those traveling with children.
