Prospect Heights overview
One of the smallest neighborhoods in Brooklyn, but at the same time, one of the most diverse and exciting places to be. How to spend a day in Prospect Heights
A day in Prospect Heights starts off in Prospect Park.** **Designed in 1859 by Frederick Olmstead, who also designed Central Park, this sprawling park covers five hundred and twenty three acres and is bordered by four neighborhoods. It is a huge space, and on a fine day you will find so many things to see and explore.
After your walk, head over to the legendary Dough Doughnuts, with choices to cover anybody's taste as one of the premier donut places in Brooklyn. Don’t have a sweet tooth? Prospect Heights has you covered; try a bagel from the Olde Brooklyn Bagel Shoppe for your afternoon snack.

How to spend a night in Prospect Heights
At the absolute heart of Prospect Heights is Barclays Center. This indoor arena is home to the Brooklyn Nets Basketball team and the New York Liberty women's team. It was built in the early 2000s, and hosts events spanning from Wrestlemania to Taylor Swift. Be sure to check the website and see what's playing! After the show, be sure to grab a beer or two at Bearded Lady, a haunt for locals; or if you fancy something stronger, grab a cocktail at Sweet Polly - they also have a great selection of cheese and oysters.
